Good day. I've been here for a couple of days and I slowly start to meet different people. I am glad to hear various thoughts, their habits, traditions ... because we are getting to know each other. Today, I wanted to hear what you think of my country? Did you hear about her? And did you ever have a chance to visit her?

The capital of Serbia is Belgrade. Belgrade's long and interesting history suggests its architecture - in its older neighborhoods there are buildings in the Byzantine and Ottoman, as well as in the neoclassical and romantic style, while in New Belgrade the details are clearly seen in secessionist, brutalistic and neo-Byzantine style. The rich and varied cultural life of the city is reflected in a multitude of theaters, museums, monuments and operas, while the beaches and rivers attract bathers, lovers of sports activities and people looking for good entertainment, gathering on popular rafts that have been turned into nightclubs. This is only a small part of what Serbia offers.

I only spent about 15 minutes in Serbia. I changed trains in Belgrade on the way to Greece. I was sad that it was such a short visit, it would have been nice to see more of your country, but maybe I will be able to do that another time

@Nevena83 I would really like to do that. My husband and I have talked about buying interrail ticket again in the furture. That would give us the chance to travel around in Europe for one month. We want to include some of the countries that we didn't get the chance to visit last time and Serbia is one of them

I`m not a traveler that`s why I don`t know Serbia. I`m poor knowing all countries in this earth. I only learn here new things but not familiar too much with other countries around the world.

Architectural buildings, Bali-Begova Mosque,Belgrade fortress,Kalemegdan,Djerdap National Park,Uvac,The Petrovaradin Fortress,Museum of Nikola Tesla,Avala...This is just a small part of what we could visit in our country.

I know very little about Serbia, except for the war that took place in the early 90s. I'm still a little confused about who was fighting who, and for what reason, but I hope that there is peace there now. Perhaps you can write about your country here on myLot and inform us all what a beautiful country you live in!

I am glad that there is someone who has still heard of my country, but I am sorry that it is because of the war. Inaccurate information about this war goes to the world ... Unfortunately, more forces have resolved to show us the power, we just wanted to live in peace. As in the centuries, Serbia never attacked, but always defended itself. There are different nations in my country and we welcome everyone, but there are nations that want to take our country-Kosovo. Kosovo is the heart of Serbia that bleeds for centuries. It's just these days that the real drama is about who knows which way they are trying to destroy us, they have forbidden the transfer of food there, oxygen and medicine for the hospital, our lives are endangered, but we pray that everything is fine. Thank you for the opportunity to express my views on your country.
