I Want to Thank All Our Police Officers

Today, I want to say thank you to all our police officers, who lay their life on the line for us every single day. It use to be, issuing a speeding ticket or stopping a vehicle with a light out, was no big deal for them. Now, those men and women alike are laying down their own life, each time they make a random traffic stop. We hear about troopers losing their lives, almost every day. Being a policeman is hard work and one of the most dangerous jobs, on earth! Give a simple thank you to a policeman real soon, for attempting to make our lives a whole lot safer. Christian is my son-in-law and I'm very proud of the service he provides for us, each day.

You are so right, we should thank them every single day for what they do. They never get enough credit for risking their lives.

I can't imagine laying my life down for the public, every single day:( It's a thankless job, at times.

@CarolDM Thank you, Carol:) Christian was abused terribly, growing up. He used those lemons, to stir up some delicious 'lemonade!' He's a beautiful example, of God's healing power

One officer stopped a vehicle, for a simple traffic violation. At the passenger window, he took a bullet to the face!

I wish I could thank your son-in-law in person. My dad was fifteen when he got the news his twenty-eight year old brother had been killed in the line of duty as a policeman in California. It’s still hard for him to talk about. They are brave men and women.

Christian has seen many deaths, most of them murder. His life has been endangered, during gunfire on the job. I thank God, he has been kept safe!

I can't imagine dealing with folks like that every day. Teachers at times have it almost as bad.

My daughter-in-law is a school teacher. She needed to visit a little girls home and to meet her parents. They had no home, the family was living in a car!

They never get enough credit for what they do, we always hear about the bad eggs or the ones that lost their lives but we never get to hear about the ones that actually bring justice to this world.

@DesirousDreamer Every incident that involves a policeman's error, is blown out of proportion and then it gets magnified into a deceitful crime!

@kobesbuddy Yes, I know. It is just unfortunate how their stories are not told instead the bad guys are infamous.
