The Round Angeleno Hotel in Los Angeles

This week, my husband and I are staying at the fun, round Angeleno Hotel in Los Angeles, California.
The hotel is located on Sunset Boulevard next to the Getti Museum, which has incredible views of Los Angeles and the surrounding area. They have a shuttle which will take you back and forth to the museum whenever you want. I took the above photo of the hotel from the patio of the Getti Museum.
The unique rooms in the Angeleno are pie-shaped, and each one has a little balcony.
The hotel was designed by the same architect who designed the famous Capital Records building, which was also round and was supposed to look like a stack of records.
Every evening there is a wine tasting in the lobby and it is a great opportunity to socialize with the other people who are also staying here for the business conference my husband is attending.
Meanwhile, I will relax and enjoy the restaurants, gym and nearby museum. It's a great week for me!

@LadyDuck - The Getti is amazing, isn't it? I always enjoy the opportunity to walk around there. It is a real gift to Los Angeles.

@DianneN - We have been enjoying our time here. It is well-located on Sunset, with Brentwood in one direction and UCLA in the other. Lot's of places to go shop and eat, in addition to the museum!

@JohnRoberts - The rooms are very typical hotel rooms, except for the pie shape, which makes them a little unusual. There are only rooms on the outside so, as you can see, there's only about 16 rooms per floor, which is nice. The restaurant on the top floor has pretty awesome views, but the prices are ridiculous. We are going to eat next door at the Luxe tonight! LOL

That sounds like a good place to stay. I remember the Capital building well. I used to go to the DuPar's ext door.

@just4him - It's a great hotel. Only 15 rooms on a floor and it feels more intimate than a lot of hotels. Not overly fancy, just comfortable.
