No luck getting ticket to Queen + Adam Lambert at MSG

Tickets to the Queen + Adam Lambert concert (The Rhapsody Tour) at Madison Square Garden on August 6th, 2019 went on sale today at 12 pm. As soon as noon hit I went to Ticketmaster to get tickets.
They had a wait line to be able to get tickets, which I've never seen before on Ticketmaster. I was told there are 2000 + on the wait line. Had to wait for about an hour or so just to be able to shop for tickets.
When my wait was finally over there were limited seats available for purchase and they kept on changing. Every time reasonably priced tickets were available ($99 - $136 each + fees) and I clicked to buy them I was told that another fan already beat me to it and/or that the tickets were no longer available.
I've been at it for hours trying to get the damn tickets but no luck. I am mad as hell! How is it possible that as soon as a pair of tickets shows up for sale that it is no longer available to buy?
Maybe I should try again tomorrow. I don't get why all the tickets are not available for sale. It is not fair! They should just limit how many tickets people can buy and how many times they can buy them.

No luck so far. Maybe I will have better luck this weekend. They did add another show the day after this show. Tickets for that go on sale next week I believe. So there is that option as well if I am not able to get tickets to this one.

Do people buy as many as they can then resell them at a dearer price? That is what happens here.

Enough people do that here. They can resell for 2-4 times, if not more, than they bought it for.

@lovebuglena It's really annoying but I don't know how they can stop it really.

@JudyEv Do not allow tickets to be resold. End of story. You buy them you go to the show or give them/sell them to someone you know.

Me too. I have a feeling that maybe they only do a limited number of tickets for the first day of sale... Maybe I will have more luck tomorrow or the day after. I never had issues getting tickets to them the last time they went on tour.
