Do you have your own house?

Many people pay rent. They can't afford to have their own house. In our country the rent is expensive. Having our own house is better. Many people have to work abroad for a house. They leave their families. Children are left alone. Some of them commit suicide. It's sad. We are lucky to have our own house. Do you have your own house or do you pay rent?

In my country, it is not easy to save money and buy a house. Most of the times the people pay a part of the price, and pay the rest a little by little, month by month. This is called a mortgage. The value of time acts against the poors, they pay a lot more money to have their appartment. for example, a house coasts 1.5 million NIS and a noobie has a monthly salary of 7000 NIS, before expenses of food, electricity, and etc...it will take the noobie more than 200 salaries to afford a house. That is more than 10 years of work and saving coin to coin. There must be something to fix that situation.

I think here is worse. We have to work 50 years or more to have our own houses.

@stringer321 The owners set the prices of houses. The problem is that we have very small wages. The minimum wage is 250 Euros. And many people receive the minimum wage.

We have a house and a condo. That is very sad that people have to leave their kids and work abroad.

Our appartment was bought 27 years ago. In that period everyone had houses or appartments. Now it's almost impossible to buy a house in our country. We need to work 50 years or more.

My parents have their own house but I need to go to the city to work so I need to rent. In my country, buying a house is more expensive. If I already start a family I might consider investing to a house.

I think buying a house is expensive in all countries. If you would have a family you would need your own house. Is the rent expensive for you?
