Miss USA,Miss Columbia and Miss Australia are so not going to win because their racist video got viral

I know europeans see this as objectification of women but Southeast Asians, Caribbeans and Latinos see this event differently. They are seen as athletes and ambassadors. Since they can't win olympics but they can win and qualify to the finals of these pageants. Cultural difference maybe. Things had also changed. Miss World removed swimsuit....the focus now is their platform on charity. Miss universe still have swimsuit and but the Plastic surgery women don't win anymore and other body types are reaching the finals now. They also score attitude now. In Colombia a pageant girl can transition to Politics after her title reign because they are seen as national heroes. They get tax exemption if they win a crown. Philippines and Venezuela also takes it seriously, They treat their title winners as high as the President due to the charity activities. As in the media interview their title winners about issues in politics. In case in India, women use it as shortcut to become an actress.

@CaptAlbertWhisker As you can say we see things differently, those who surprise me are American women, those who preached because the women are not only"objects", ridiculous.

I am trying to get the latino and south east Asian comments, this is their jam. This is their superbowl. It is Miss Colombia who doesn't want to be in the same room with Spain. Spain is the trans. She said she dont want to be in the same room with a man.

@Plethos It is not big in the US and Europe but in Latin America ,eastern Europe and Southeast Asia (except Malaysia and Singapore) it is big because it is something they always win compared to olympics and world cup. In Colombia if a woman wins a crown, she will be exempted from Tax and be a national hero. Its like fantasy football for them. crime rates drop down on SE Asia when its on screen.

@CaptAlbertWhisker There are better things a person could do to make it to the prime time news. The key for them is to respect other nationalities and understand not everyone is good at learning foreign languages.

Usa and Australia somehow still managed to make the top 20 but all bullies got eliminated while Vietnam made it top 5.
