It's Going to be a Mess Tonight!

Avoid Downtown Denver tonight at all costs!
Except I can't.
Tonight, the Denver Broncos play the Cleveland Browns. And the Colorado Avalanche play the Dallas Stars. Both stadiums are located Downtown. That's close to 100,000 people right there. And there's a John Legend concert tonight. Downtown. Irving Berlin's White Christmas is playing at the Buell Theater. Downtown. Plus there will be the usual bar and restaurant crowd.
In other words, stay away!
But my wife is working security for the John Legend show, and it's my job to get her there, and pick her up.

@teamfreak16 I think in situations like this, mobiles would be almost essential. I'm sure they make 'meeting up' much easier.

Picking her up was much worse than dropping her off. Everything let out at the same time. But I did get to watch the Avalanche game, so it all worked out.

If that is the case stay away from California in general. 
To many people but that is neat. Wife? thought she was your girlfriend. Did you get married and not tell us or did I miss that post? Anyway, sounds like fun in the frustrating way of modern life that we just expect these days. Enjoy and be safe.

No, not officially, but we are common law married and she's been referring to me as her husband for awhile now, so I figured that I should do the same.

@teamfreak16 Ah, I got you, one of those types. I had another pair of friends who did that. I have not seen them in years but last I heard they were getting married but never getting married if you know what I mean. Married in spirit where they would tell people they were getting married. It was an interesting relationship. Really neat people though, kind of so good you are like someone is out of place here. Oh wait, it is me, and they would kill me if they ever heard me say that.

Yes, the Broncos are American football. The Avalanche are our professional hockey team. I watched the Avalanche game on TV.
