A challenge from @indexer to write a Christmas Story “Where are my shoes” the brother screamed They were getting ready to attend the midnight mass on Christmas Eve. He had to be satisfied with his old pair as his parents had no money to buy a new pair for him. But he just could not find his shoes It was getting late for mass and the family rushed him He went bare feet. He forgot about the shoes once he reached the church. He sang Silent Night – solo His sister was there too - all decked up wearing shoes that did not quite fit her. And that was me.

@allknowing It is sad when families drift apart. Most of Vince's siblings manage to meet up from time to time. I only have my sister now and we'll see her a few days before Christmas.

It has a beginning, a middle and an end - but is unfortunately over the limit by five words!
