What was on your plate for Dinner?

Just got done with a plate of spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner. I like to sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on the top and texas toast on the side. If you are not familiar with texas toast, it is a thick sliced french bread that goes great with spaghetti.
The toast is also good with butter and a little cheese, put it under the broiler a couple of minutes to let the cheese melt, and oh my goodness it is good.

Oh my God this picture of your dinner makes me wanna go to the kitchen and grab a snack! I am hungry now :( It looks delicious! I had pasta, and beans for dinner, but now it is like it never happened lol. Have a good night Carol! :)

Mmm sounds good and I love Texas toast. We just had left over deer meat and I made some fried potatoes to go with it.

Small serving of spinach, small microwaved sweet potato, half a yellow squash, two hard boiled eggs. Hubby skipped the eggs in favor of a braunschweiger sandwich.I am trying to bring my blood sugar and cholesterol down, he is trying to build his iron. We are trying to eat mostly at home.

my niece had some food trip last night so she bought grilled chicken and pork belly. i instead, cooked rice. my son brought home the cake given to him by his co-teachers

Before I read your discussion ,I looked at the picture and said to myself that Texas toast looks like French Bread.
Reading the discussion came to know it's the same.
Will experiment with spaghetti and meat sauce one of these days
