How long does your Christmas holiday last?

Christmas is not an official festival here, so we don't have a day off work and school. On the other hand, Christmas is one of the biggest festivals in some countries. I wonder how long your Christmas holiday last and you can have the break from work and school.

For us it starts from the 24th to the 1st.. A time of prayer and worship.

@id_peace I don't think so. If it is not allowed, at least no Christmas trees and decorations available. Actually we can still see these, but just we don't have an official holiday for it. It is reasonable for foreigner countries that they don't have a holiday for Chinese New Year.

@youless For kids only, workers only have the day of Christmas and the 26th that is a holiday.

Well the celebration will be on the 24th & 25th and would last till Jan 1st and officially end on Jan 6th. But we start the preparations early on September where almost everybody is starting to decorate themselves at that point that is why we call it the "ber" months(Sept, Oct Nov & Dec) means that is the start of Christmas preparation.

We have only one day official holiday. Children too have one day holiday and they will get winter break from January first onward.

No matter of Xmas is not official festival in my country too , but people also make a big celebration on the Xmas day because that 's a good opportunity for people in family being together and express their love each others I love Xmas air !!!!
