Is MyLot taking a long time to load for you?

MyLot has been taking an unusually long time to load for me recently. It's reduced my activity, simply because it takes so long to get from one post to the next. I've deleted my cookies, cleared my cache, and done all of the normal things one does to clean up a gummy computer. It's not happening with other sites. Just curious. Activity seems to be down (based on how often new posts appear), but I'm still having a hard time getting around the site quickly.

When I first come on it's a bit slow to load but after that it seems fine here. I guess there will be less posts over Christmas.

Sometimes (as in this case) I can comment immediately. Other times it takes 15 sec for a post or comment to load.

Its extremely slow, stab my eye ball with a pen slow, Like on dial up for internet service slow. I love the scream.

Yes a top rated discussion that no one that can do anything about it is taking a blind bit of notice of. The site is slower than molasses.

Yes, It lags badly. I thought it was my computer. Some days, I just go and do something else because I am sitting there waiting for the comments or notifications to load. I'm glad it is not just me.

@TheHorse the average Internet speeds we have in India are much below western average but now catching up. May be the particular Mirroring Servers of Mylot in US are facing some issues? The Admin should may be bring out a post on it.

I want to add that in looking at a lot of the comments, people overseas seem to have fewer problems with loading. It is people in the US that seem to have the most problems. Why is the US slower than the rest of the world?

mine seems to be slow when I go to my responses or messages everything else seems fine. sometimes when a lot of people is on at the same time could slow the site down too.
