Merry Christmas to you and all Chile! A great country that has opened up its gates to all Venezuelans immigrants and other foreigners!

We have a lot of Venezuelan people here. Venezuela also opened its gates to Chilean people in times of Pinochet.

@jvicentevalera I had fun here. And I have many of my friends who went to Venezuela during those years. I almost went too. Then Venezuela was a rich country and it was easy to get work.

@marguicha Yeah I heard of that, however I didn't quite know that my country once opened its gates to Chilean. I hope from the depth of my heart that all of them are behaving in Chile. I think I might be going there in future. :) I hope you have had fun on Chistmas Eve!

Wish you too a Merry Christmas!
Sometimes I have been on mylot just for 5 to 10 minutes - around the morning tea time or sometimes evening time.

Have a nice day with Carolyn even though she was running late. That gave you more time to mylot and have coffee it sounds like. Our day today is laid back. I still have some presents to wrap and I'll be attending a church service at six pm tonight. We don't always go, but my daughter is singing and I think her new inl-aws will be there, so I need to go too.
Both my husband and other daughter that still lives at home are working until their businesses close for the night. Both close early. We used to have a tradition where we let our daughters when they were younger open one gift on Christmas eve so we could sleep in a bit the next day. They don't know it yet, but I got something for at least my daughter still at home to open along with my husband. Those are wrapped.
Tomorrow will be low key until we go to my niece and nephews to celebrate the day with the rest of my family. Before then, I'll be starting my chili on the stove and then I'll put it into the crock pot later for carrying safety. I may also begin the food for the next day, Wednesday, since I still don't know when that food will go. I was planning on making the carmelized sweet potatoes again for Christmas meal until I found out the main food with be soups.
My sister is in town until Wednesday, only from Detroit and I usually make a cranberry relish for her and I on Thanksgiving and Christmas. But, I didn't make it last month when I should have since we're not eating on plates tomorrow. And, I may not make it for the meal on Wed night either, but I can send the food in some way.
lol, this is longer than your post.
Enjoy your day,s, and Merry Christmas.
