All Done for the Day

Managed to get the laundry done, vacuumed the rugs, and cleaned the floors. I love hardwoods but you have to stay on top of them to stay clean. When it is raining, I don't mind the housework at all. All done for now. Football game on tomorrow. Not sure if anything is on tonight. This time of the year there is not much to watch. Maybe an old movie. Friday plans out there anyone?

I agree with you, hardwood floors are beautiful but can be high maintenance to keep them perfect. Yours looks great. No plans for tonight, probably go to bed early.

@CarolDM Thank you. I slept the clock around last night. I guess I must have needed it. I feel as though I am fighting off something, there seems to be pressure behind one of my eardrums. I do like carpeting in some rooms, bedrooms mostly.

I love the feeling when housework is done. I only have hardwood floors in Connecticut and they do need care. However, since we had them sanded, restained, and varnished, a vacuum and wet mop make them easier to clean. We just returned from our Friday date night, and I’m heading to bed soon.

Friday was a busy day visiting my best friend on her Birthday with my daughter. Daughter and I did exercise at the Y and loved the calm time with no one else still in the house except hubby, daughter and me...and zuzu the dog.

Sounds like a very busy and productive day. Hope it's been a good day though! And hope you found something good to watch. Tonight I am just watching YouTube and catching up on discussions here. Might make a new art design, trying to think of one to make though.
