I know it sounds weird me asking, but I just want to know the lifestyle of people in urban areas. I live in rural area and we have to go to the restaurant to order food. You got me. I'm feeling hungry. I want a box of popcorn but have nowhere to get one. I'm thinking of moving to the city with family once my daughter goes to university. What do you think?

The only places we can order from here are two pizza places. We have only ordered from one of them since moving to this place. It was Hungry Howies which is a local pizza place.

I did order online and to be honest, I don't like the idea because the food gets cold already.

Unless it is pizza, we have to go to the restaurant to order food as well.

There are plenty of food delivery services which offer to deliver at home and you can order the food online on their website or app. We do use these services a couple of times a month.

@yoalldudes well, can't say the best of both worlds. The traffic and pollution drives me crazy. We spend more than we should. And to experience nature we need to travel far!

Some of the advantages of city life we dont have here in the province. But we enjoy good climate, no traffic and inexpensive food. I guess you cant have the best of both worlds.

@pitstop Exactly. We can't. Guess we have to choose, weigh the pros and cons of each.

It is easy to order food online in this place though it is costly. I never ordered food online for us. But in office, they do.

@yoalldudes I don't know whether some particular foods are costly or not. Bu the packets seems to be worthy for the price.

Why is it costly? Is there a minimum to be able to place an order?

I do order food online sometimes. Specially when I am too tired after work and do not want to cook. Or when I have not carried my lunch to office.

These are the benefits of these times and I'm glad we have them (except in location such as ours though). I can totally relate to those times when we are too busy or tired.

We live in the city, within walking distance to KFC, MacDonald, etc. I often ordered the foods then walk the few minutes there to collect (to save the delivery cost). Worked very well so far.

Yes you can order and pick up. That way you dont have to wait and save delivery cost at the same time. Smart approach.

It is just like an online shopping. Instead of getting a product, yo get a food within the hours stated. It is convenient, provide several job opportunity to the local and income to the people and economy of the country. I have not try it yet since I am not a food picker. An ordinary food is just okay to satisfy my hungry. The popular one in my country is FoodPanda and the rest would be those home made food delivery service.

Oh you were thinking using our myLot earnings. That is nice as well. I was thinking more in general because I want to know if people in urban areas or cities simply order online for their meals.
