The last talk with my eldest daughter.

Today I received a call from Tania. She was in her way to the south of Chile where she is meeting with some friends for the New Year.
Tania has yet another problem. She says she doesn´t love the BF any longer.
I counted to one hundred. After a long relation, her BF moved to her house a few months ago. Everything looked as if it was sheer romance. And although I don´t believe in that sort of romance between a 54 year old woman and a 61 year old man, they told their story so that everyone had to believe it.
Now it seems he is aggressive (she had told me that at other times when she broke up) and that he is hypochondriac (she had also told me that before. It seems that he tells her that he will change and in spite of what I tell her (that people do not change) she decides to believe. Fortunately, the aggression is just words. And I´m sure that my daughter does not remain silent at those times.
I´m late for my change to go to the party. Her conversation lasted for over half an hour. I feel this is just another chapter though. I´m sorry for my sweet baby

You can be sorry, you can regret what is happening for her, but ultimately she makes the choices. You love her, and you listen.

Oh, that is such a shame. You always think your children will grow up and after about 30, won't be a problem but that doesn't always happen. At least, it didn't happen for us. Our children continue to cause us unrest and anxiety.
