Oh No!

As you can see in the picture above, the fire department pulled up across the street. It's not something you want to see ever, and I hope and pray the man who lives there will be all right. It wasn't him shoveling snow earlier. That man was much younger. They just loaded him into the ambulance and will leave shortly. I can tell you from what I saw, he's alive, and I hope he remains so. @just4him that is interesting. At least the man doesn't have fire damage to contend with when he comes home from hospital.

Our fire department sends out both the engine and the ambulance with every call. There wasn't a fire.

Yes, it does. I don't know him personally, but I've seen him outside many times and he would sit in a chair on the porch every summer. I'm sure if the family knew, they would appreciate it.

I know how dangerous it is to shovel snow. I have a small heart problem and I stop every 10 minutes, get inside and rest. I hope he is fine.
