my roommate got me to try Nori -a dried seaweed snack. I like this one flavored with Wasabi. It has a bit of kick to it. They are a very healthy snack to eat having high levels of vitamins A and C, and calcium, they also contain Vitamin B-12 and high amounts of iodine, potassium, selenium, iron, and magnesium. I like it because I need extra Iodine for my thyroid. So this is a great snack! Have you tried seaweed? Do you like it.. if so do you have a favorite flavor or just plain?

Yes, I buy fresh seaweeds that I serve as a salad, a lot better than dried ones.

@LadyDuck so you eat them raw? do you have any other way of preparing them? Is it a certain type of seaweed?

@lady1993 I think they taste like salty sea water.. not necessarily like fish. I really don't eat fish myself. and don't like the smell of fish usually.

Yes, wasabi is a type of horseradish. it gives a bit of a zing to the seaweed. A boost in the flavor!

@ridingbet luckily, this is just a hint of wasabi. so it does not burn too much.
