It is not raining today; the mighty sun is shining its rays so brightly that the temperature is now 25 degrees Celsius.
I hope it will not rain today. There are impassable roads already: the path where we travel on when we go to church is flooded. The river has swollen.
Our place is the catch basin of 3 provinces. The Pacific Ocean and South China Sea through the Balintang Channel meet in the northernmost part of our country and that is where the flood waters go.
I worry about our basement getting flooded again but so far it is dry.
We live far from the river so I have no clue if it is receding fast, because if it rains again, a dam near our province might be opening some gates so it won’t overflow, and therefore our place will be flooded.
Hope it won’t rain today!

@ridingbet This morning is very cold -6º Celsius, my pond is frozen, the water in the bowls for the cats was also frozen. I took it inside and placed under hot shower to thaw.

our place is elevated so it does not get flooded; only our basement, when the dam opens several gates so the water flows through them, we might have an overflow of water reaching our basement.
well, i believe that is also considered flood. hahaha
