I was wrong. It's not tonsillitis.

On my last post I spoke about how I was pretty sure that I had tonsillitis because I had woken up with a sore throat, earache and headache. I went to the doctors on Thursday. He checked my throat and said it wasn't tonsillitis. 
I really thought it was! Turns out ( and using his words ) it's a bacterial infection / flu. So I have been through hell these past few days. Besides the small amount of times I've been asleep and besides the small amount of time headache tablets have taken pain away, ( I've been having headache tablets every 6-ish hours but it only takes pain away for about an hour or two ) my head has been pounding this whole time. My throat is a bit better....I think. Or maybe I've just been more focused on my head but my goodness. I will be glad when this is over.
Last night my left ear went a little bit deaf. I massaged my face and breathed in steam to try unblock my sinuses and it worked. But then a bit later my right ear went deaf. 
Both ears are clear this morning except my right ear is very sore.
Usually I don't complain when I am sick. But this time around it has annoyed me because it's a crappy way to start the year. I wanted to do some things but I haven't done any of them because I don't feel well. One of the things I wanted to do was MyLot like crazy to catch up but I honestly do not feel great so I'm sorry.
And the big kicker is, one of my best friend's wedding is this evening. I will be attending but obviously went be able to enjoy myself to the full since I'm sick. I'm so glad I'm not the bride lol
Anyway I'm sorry to those who I told I would catch up with their posts. I also know I have my own posts to work on. If you know me, you know I ALWAYS answer all my notifications. But at the moment I just cannot do much.
I may try to do a bit today so I don't lose notifications but other than that I will be trying to rest.

You're not alone in your crappy start to the new year. I am sick with the flu as well. Me and the kids all came down with it while we were at Disney World. I hope you get better soon. I'm taking just about every medicine imaginable to try and help me feel better.

@moffittjc Man! Seriously I feel like so many people have been sick with the flu right now. It's so horrible! And thank you. I really hope you feel better soon too!
I've taken a tablet about an hour ago and can't have anymore for about 5 hours. I took a real strong one so might try sleep for a little bit. Or enjoy no headache for a little while. We shall see.

@moffittjc Sounds good! Sleep is wonderful when sick. Hope you feel a little better when you wake.
I'm hoping I can sleep at night. It's still morning here and have that wedding to go to in the evening so I just may pass out fast when I get home. Hopefully!

I can sure hear you lol HELLO! Actually thankfully my ears aren't as blocked as before but I will try not to jinx that.
I'm feeling a bit better thank you just mainly my voice I'm trying to get back completely, waiting for ears to get back to normal and having some major coughing fits yet at the same time I'm feeling better than before.

@LadyDuck oh man I hope this won't be the case for me. I'm too tired lol The coughing fits have affected my neck a little bit. I will get past this and it will all eventually leave but sooner the better cause I am exhausted. Thank you very much.
I am very distracted at the moment though. I am watching the movie Ghost. So...ya know..Patrick Swayze.

@LadyDuck Hey thank you very much. The only things I'm really dealing with right now is an annoying cough, swollen ears so ears still feeling full and my throat is still making my voice sound awful but my voice has been a bit better today.

I've recently gone through the flu. Cold, cough, stomach virus, headache, chills, extreme fatigue...it was quite a lot going on. All I can say is I hope your feeling better and back to your old self soon. Until then here is a quote that expresses my feelings when I'm sick....

@newmary201 Thank you. I am just sick with bad cough, sore throat, voice still scratchy and ears feeling full. Better but still not 100%. Thankfully I didn't have tonsillitis because that really does suck! But I'm sorry you had it recently!

@newmary201 I love hearing about natural medicines / remedies. I'm a little bit iffy when it comes to medicines from the Pharmacy. I know there are a lot of great things out there but I always like to check out the natural remedies first.
Yeah it turns out was just a bad flu to which I'm still dealing with. Having a really bad cough and sore throat. Nose starting to run the other day and sneezing. So it's kinda like it's coming back. I don't know what's happening but going back to the doctor next week.

@AmbiePam yeah I didn't want to miss it. Even though I felt awful I still didn't want to miss such an event in her life. And yeah earaches are just so awful! Thankfully I'm not getting them like before. They have calmed down a lot.

I am glad it has nothing to do with your tonsils but not happy for you that you are in lots of pain. It is no fun to be sick. Take care of yourself and get well and it is good that you are not the bride or that would be a real mess.
