Poetry: If life had a point, would it leave me disjoint?

If life had a point, would it prick me to life, or do we need to become prickly ourselves? I am prickly with life myself you see, but it hasn’t pricked me to be alive in my life. Emptiness of heart brings emptiness of mind, and yet the love flowing between the two is not empty. The answer to this little conundrum is that, life emptied of you is not full, until emptied of you. We fill up our lives with a falseness of fear in our pain. What then remains is a false emptiness, of scarceness. The fullness of life empties itself back into you whole, when you empty yourself into it by fully being you as you. The realness of you is lost in the false emptiness of fear, until you come alive in God’s love, you are not yourself. The greater companionness of life brings life to life, when the love is being lived for itself, not for you, not you.
