Yes, I've done it. I've got my new laptop up and running. It's sooo different from my old one (a Toshiba running Windows 7) that it's going to take me a while to get used to all the new bells and whistles it has.
It's an Acer running Windows 10 and what pleases me most so far is that it comes with an absolutely brilliant suite of photo-editing software which will be really handy since I do a lot of photographic work elsewhere on the web.
I can see myself being up into the wee small hours for a couple of nights figuring out how to do things but this is my first contribution to myLot from my new laptop!

@ThreeTeddies This is what I want, but for a real good quality keyboard I use my desktop. You buy the keyboard that you like more.

@CarolDM Actually it was easy to set up. It comes with a voice assistant called Cortana. She pretty much talked me through all I had to do. I think I've fallen in love with her!
