So much out there right now about feminism and the rights of women. We have come into an age where women can be themselves, show emotion and have a say in what goes on around them and to them. We keep striving and moving forward. Slow but it seems to be getting better.
We come into this world completely innocent and learn from those in our lives and the experiences we have. We are all individuals with dreams, goals and asperationns.
I have always enjoyed being a woman. Of course I don't know what it would be like to be a man. I am glad I was born when I was(early 50's) and was a teen during the 60's during the hippy era. I am glad I saw this freedom at such an early age. I have been told I am very feminine and even quite a woman.
Women need to be free of the stigma that they were put on this earth to cowtow to men. Duh! We accept, or we don't, the responsibility of taking care of a family. This isn't a given anymore, it's a choice. Hallejulliah!
Believe what the world says or our own experience? Strive to believe in yourself, find your voice and the strength we all have as women. I certainly hope so. Ghee, We can even vote now.
So, I ask you women out there: Are you the you you want to be? Do you feel feminine? Does that matter to you? Are you strong in the belief that you are getting what you need from the world around you?
