Seeds were sown three months ago of various types of flowers. Some are finally showing results. I was hoping they would show up for the party but just as well as kids were seen plucking whatever flowers there were in the garden.
Not quite pleased with what I see but as they say something is better than nothing.
I have seen discussions here where some users think nothing of marigolds as they just come up in their gardens with little or no maintenance but for me they are precious

They take care of pests probably because of the smell

I use marigolds in the garden every year. Some of them get good sized and very full. It just takes time.

There are only two as they have just started blooming. There are flowers elsewhere

Wow! I love marigolds too. I remembered my mother when she planted it in our backyard. Really beautiful especially when the flowers bloom.
