How fast can you type?

I think everyone does it here (and out of here) practically every day...
When it comes to typing (whether it's on a cell phone, a computer, or a notebook) are you part of the team that types in fast, slow or halfway?
Right now, I'm part of the first team.

I was a typist in an office and could type 60 words per minute. Accurately? Nope! lol I'm mediocre on my computer keyboard.

@WiseGhots When I was 18 years old, my fingers were nimble and very quick on the keyboard. I used an old pica typewriter for a while, it wasn't electric so my speed was greatly affected.

On a computer or laptop, I can type quite fast. On a 'phone or a tablet, I am a bit slower. I've had practice at typing, and I work in an office where typing is an integral part of my job so that's helped to improve my speed. Although, it also seems to have done the opposite to my accuracy - saying that, I can now type without looking at the keyboard. I would say that one or two mistakes in a paragraph while typing quickly and not looking at the keyboard is quite good. When I had to look at the keyboard, I made no mistakes but typed much more slowly!

When it comes to typing on a cell phone I am very slow but I used to be very fast at typing on the computer. Now, I do not time how fast I type because I do not need it for a job.
