The weather is still gloomy here. That kind of makes us feel bad.
Bob bowled last night, and you can tell that in some ways he is feeling better, however he has a urinary tract infection again, and we have been waiting for the VA to have a prescription delivered. It was "overnighted" to us five days ago. Overnight does not do weekends, or holidays. Our town is so small it does not get overnight delivery. I learned that when I checked on it this morning.Out for delivery today they say.
We have nothing planned for today. Really exciting, right?
We could have gotten it ourselves but we had just left the town where we go to the pharmacy.

That is a long time to wait for medication.

Yep, we should have had her phone it to a Wal Mart pharmacy.

@spiderdust It says we will owe a copay, but we have not gotten billed. I know some, if you get regular recurring medicine by mail you have no copay.

@GardenGerty Do you have a copay when it gets sent to that pharmacy? Some friends of mine get their prescriptions by mail because they don't have to pay a copay when they do it that way (at least not with their insurance), but it's not very convenient when you need a medication quickly.

Yes, it does him good to be around these other healthy and active people.
He is building back up his strength.

Well, he has it now and it is going to help him. I took advantage and did my online sites.

I wonder what would happen if you desperately needed that medication immediately. I have always love the small towns out in the middle of nothing and nowhere but now that I am older I am second guessing myself. I am sorry to heart that hubby has yet another urinary infection.

We would go to the ER. It was a long holiday weekend and so no one was in offices. We should have had her phone it to a Wal Mart. Think really carefully before you buy a home in a town with no businesses. We were in relatively good health when we did but it has gone down hill suddenly. Even in the next town over, where our doctor is, if I had to have something, I could walk most anywhere. The pharmacy closes early, though.

@GardenGerty I lived in a town that was very sparsely populated and we had to go miles for a gallon of milk. The nearest doctor was at least 30 miles away. Now I am near doctors and have my choice of stores within a couple of miles. I sure do miss the country with it's peace and it's quietness.

Not worth it, is it. I could have had her phone it to a Wal Mart pharmacy and even picked it up the next day.

The big one is only an hour. The clinic we went to was an hour and a half. We will see a urologist at the one an hour away.

No, and we were getting anxious. We will know next time, if there is one, and have it sent to a pharmacy. We have had problems with a pharmacy saying they did not get the orders, though.

Better unexciting than something bad happening.

He only seems to go a week or ten days and has a newer, worse one. Even after antibiotics.
