Not impressed!

Yesterday morning the weather was lovely; a bit chilly but the sun was shining, I had some errands to do so spent a couple of hours cycling around, taking the scenic route along the river.
As I was heading home the sky started to look a bit greyer, as though rain or something might be on the way. I got home just in time, because shortly afterwards it started to sleet, and then to snow quite hard. Not pretty little snowflakes either, but great big wet splodges of snow. In no time the ground was covered with a couple of inches. Then we have had a frosty night.
This morning the temperatures are just above freezing so it won’t last much longer but at the moment everything still looks very picturesque and wintry. The chickens do not appreciate it though. When I opened the door of their run (which is covered) this morning to allow them out they didn’t look at all impressed!

I seems that you have heavy snow there.Deep snow makes it difficult for chickens to look for food,so they are ungrateful.

The chickens don't want to go out in that weather.

No they don't look like the are likin' the snow. They can't decide if they really want to get out of their run or not.
