Off to eat dinner, practice rock 'n roll, and then play at bluegrass jam, all within three hours. Please pray for my survival.

Yes, this evening is one of those nights where I'm over-scheduled. Dinner is at the house of one of the East Bay's bluegrass notables.
Then there's rock practice at 7 PM (different people).
Then there's the monthly bluegrass jam at Armando's, a music club in downtown Martinez CA. I'm hoping not to have to play, but escape is unlikely. I need a beer and don't have any here.
Please pray (or prey, if you're @Vandana7) for my survival.

Why do you do this to yourself? I think you love it.

I would say make sure you don't get the two genres mixed up, but Elvis did "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and the Gibson Brothers did a Tom Petty song......

@FourWalls @xander6464 What she said. "Older" guys (meaning older than me) still do that to celebrate the tradition--guys like Doyle Lawson.

Sneaky choice of words there for our dear, Vanny, lol. I'm not seeing this until after eleven, so I'm guessing you made it through your evening, packed as it was even without my prayers. I try not to prey if at all possible.
Speaking of preying, did you end up playing or did you get time off for a change. That's the only thing wrong with knowing all types of music, you might get called to participate when you only want to rest, especially after everything else you already did tonight.

@TheHorse So does that mean you got to sit and enjoy others playing too, or did the night consist of you mainly playing those four songs?

@TheHorse I love Italian food, maybe because I'm Italian.

@1hopefulman I seem to "binge eat" Italian food. Mostly at home.
