Creepypasta anyone?

I don't read these very often. In fact, the one I am going to talk about was one I hadn't read, I listened to. Creepypasta, for those unawares, are stories that are meant to freak you out. I've been watching youtube videos of people reading thee and other stories out. The one I just read was perhaps the best of all. It was a different kind of scary. It revolved around a man sleepwalking and not remember his actions. The story was left open to an ominous conclusion. Do you read / listen to creepypasta / other scary stories? If so, let's talk about it. If scary / thriller / true stories aren't your thing, what do you like to read / watch / listen to? There's a reddit called NoSleep that delves into stories similar to creepypastas. You are supposed to assume that each story is true and comment as such

My first creepypastas I ever read are Slenderman, Jeff the Killer, Smith sisters and teke teke. Those are real scary stories. I have a feeling you read them already,

@ScribbledAdNauseum There are now video narrations of them for a better experience.

I have heard of them all, except for the Smith Sisters. I haven't read any of them though. I've watched people play video games based on slenderman though.

@LadyDuck I do not think I've seen any scary cartoons, unless you mean animations without a plot?

I've watched some that weren't very scary at all. I also listened to one that was more of a reaction video. It was "badly translated Russian Creepy Pasta"

@ScribbledAdNauseum There are some scary cartoons on YouTube, but some become quickly boring, they all look alike.

Mr. Creeps is who I was listening to earlier. NoSleep on reddit is a good resource for scary stories. Mr. Creeps, Mr. Nightmare, Dark Sominium (or something to that nature), those are some good channels. Corpse Husband is another.

I like Nosleep, but some of the stories are quite long, so I often read stories on another subreddit. I think it is called shortscarystories. The stories are relatively short and some of them are really wellwritten. I love the ones with unexpected twists. I sometimes I am able to guess the twist, but some of the stories really surprised me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, I have read some the stories from twosentencehorror. A few of them were really good, but it is true that many of them are similar. I have never written a story that way (twosentence horror) I usually write short stories like Shortscarystories, but it could be a interesting challenge to write something really short. I have have never submitted stories on Reddit (I only write fiction in Danish)

Oh I also am subscribed to Shortscarystories. I've submitted to that subreddit before. There's another subreddit called "twosentencehorror" or something to that effect. Have you read any of those? Most of them are the same / similar, which is the only problem I have with that one.

I am listening to Mr. Creeps right now. Trying to get used to his "surfer dude" like voice. Also planning out my own stories based on truth, based on my imagination.

All of your favorite narrators have reddit pages, either fan made or they've made themselves. I'm looking at The Dark Somnium's now.

On youtube they usually have scary pictures or video clips to go along with it. I know it's not for everyone. It's a genre that I've been a fan of (off and on) for many years.
