What did you inherit from your parents?

I don't mean what family heirlooms or valuables your parents left you I mean what characteristics did they give you? Was it something you are glad to have inherited - perfect teeth maybe or good looks? Or is it something you would rather not have had and would change if you could - a big nose, big ears or big feet perhaps? In my home country there is one genetic trait which gives rise to a wide range of opinions and reactions ranging from admiration to ridicule - red hair. Scotland isn't the only country where you will find red-haired people but it is the country with the largest proportion of redheads. Redheads have a reputation for having a fiery temper when roused. I can't say I've ever been on the receiving end of such an event but, given their reputation, I don't take any chances and try hard not to annoy any redheads I know! Speaking personally, my mother was very beautiful and my father was a very intelligent man. Unfortunately, it seems I have inherited my father's looks and my mother's brains!
