I know this is not a misspelled thing, The writer's cursive handwriting just made the Capital letter L to look like a small letter D.
I remember in the 4th grade I was taught at school to write at cursive but I stopped writing with cursive because people cannot understand my handwriting. I have the handwriting similar to a doctor.
I want to know, Do you prefer writing with cursive or manuscript style of writing.

I notice most women have better cursive, except from the doctors. Doctors have terrible handwriting.

@CaptAlbertWhisker that's how it is with doctors only the pharmacist can read them. Of late however young doctors have better handwriting.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Our doctors do not write anymore recipes, they print using their computers.

Let's make some demonade
. I used have decent cursive writing, but somewhere down the line I just started using manuscript (and all caps). I made a birthday note the other day and screwed up twice on some words in handwriting, so I started over on a third to do my usual manuscript instead.

I am sure that demonade is going to be very hellish. We can also use some demon juice to marinade some meat or fish.
I remember my highschool teacher begging me to stop using cursive because she cannot understand my handwriting.

People misunderstood my handwriting many times. Typing is also problematic to me because auto correct ruins what we want to say.

@youless Opposite of doctor, I am a taker of life. I am a butcher of sheep.
I use to be an office guy but I want to get Canadian permanent residence and it's the only legal way to do so.

If I have to fill out a form or something like that I use manuscript style. If l write notes that other people don't have to read I use cursive, because it is faster. I can write really fast, but I am the only one who is able to read it

@CaptAlbertWhisker I can write really fast, and I can usually read my notes when I need them again, but other people can't read the things I write, so I only do it when other people don't have to read it. I can write differently if I have to (nice and quite easy to read)

@Porcospino we seemed to have the same struggle. People cannot understand my cursives.

I remember that one of the biggest advantage of writing in cursive is that you can scribble faster. It just doesn't work for me.

Cursive writing is easier and faster for me, but sometimes I got them mixed up. Filling up forms however require manuscript style. My work requires me to do writing the whole day and preferably though not required must be in manuscript so it could be easier to read. I just find cursive style less tiring.

I think people find cursive writing easier to write because the flow is longer, printed style you have to stop for few seconds because there is distance from each letters.

@florelway How do like your demons? I love putting them on iced tea.
Yeah the flow with cursive is more smooth since it is more continuous. Too bad I have a doctor hand writing.

@CaptAlbertWhisker right and need to put some pressure onthe pen unlike the gliding flow of the cursive style.

In highschool I used to have a subject called "Handwritting" and our teacher taught us how to write using cursive handwritting. If we hadn't managed to master the cursive handwritting we would have not approved the subject. From that day on I write cursive, so I get questions all the time about what I meant when writing anything down. :(

I quit using cursive because people do kept asking me what did I just wrote.
So I stopped using it. I am considering to relearn it because I am already 33. I also realized I was so used to typing I haven't wrote anything in paper for years,

@CaptAlbertWhisker Actually I don't write in paper that much either lol. Well, it is never too late to relearn, in fact the book I used to learn how to write with cursive style was called Palmer Method, so my handwrtting is sort of like that.
