Yes.
I am coke free. Meaning?
I do not drink any carbonated drinks anymore. I started this late November last year. It is quite hard especially when you always have Coca Cola in the ref everyday. It is something that my husband wants. When I was single, my family usually just have coke when there were special occasions at home.
Little by little I am beginning to influence my kids to be coke free also.
I am hoping and praying for that soon.

Good for you... I always have lessened my intake of it as well but I have not totally broken free from it. I still drink from time to time when there's eating out in restaurants where there is coke available. But my intakes has drastically lessened a long time ago especially when I was diagnosed as pre diabetic already. So far it worked putting my sugar in control and drinking once in a while does not affect me.

@sunrisefan @rakski our cousins (mother and father side) who had a sari-sari store would have softdrink on the table.

When I was in the elementary and high school, only the sons and daughters of Spaniards can afford to buy soft drinks at recess time. It was a luxury for us ordinary students.

I love Coca Cola, :/ Unfortunately my parents and sister don't drink that much, so majority wins!

That's quite an achievement. I cannot perfectly say I am coke free but I did cut on my soda consumption lately.

I do without soft drinks most of the time due to diabetes. It is easier to do now as we have learned it is bad for my husband's ulcer. We have some around purchased before that, but we are not drinking it. Good for you for making this choice.

It is a nice step you are taking; why does your husband can not give up the habit of drinking it? It has too much sugar which is dangerous to our health.
