He learned at his oncology (cancer) appointment today that he will have gamma knife surgery in the area where his brain tumor was removed to prevent it coming back. It is a type of radiation, basically. He also says they will remove part of his left lung.
He has not smoked since his diagnosis.
They have bitterly cold weather there right now. His car would not start, his daughter had to take the family truck to take him.

I am glad that the truck made it to and from the appointment okay. Is he taking everything relatively well?

He is also taking a type of medication to help with this. It is much more hopeful that people were telling him at first.

Originally people were saying "stage 4 lung cancer, no treatment, you just are gonna die." This is a lot of appointments but it is so much more positive.

I was thinking about him when I saw that there was frost on the window in my back entry. Remember his lovely frost photos? I wish him well and I wish him back on the 'Lot.
