The garage is finished!!!

We finally finished rebuilding the garage. Well, that's probably the royal we, since I was mainly the gofer. (You know...I would go for this and go for that.) My husband did most of the work himself with help at times from a couple of friends and a cousin, but he wanted it done exactly like he wanted it to be done. Everything's finished except for putting his tools away. The insurance paid to replace the roll up doors, so he used the one that wasn't damaged for a new door to the boat shelter. That's on the back of the garage, but wasn't hit. That's where our cat Gracie sleeps at night. She has a warm little bed in the boat with a heat lamp hanging over her. My husband celebrated by buying a new pick up truck. It's a 2016, but looks brand new and has very low mileage. It actually rides more comfortably than my Toyota Camry. So, that's what we've been doing since Christmas morning when the garage was crashed into. So thankful to God that it's over.

Yes, you can see part of the garage in the photo. He wanted to build it back exactly the way he wanted.

He really was able to get the garage finished in good timing. And its perfect fitting for him to buy something new to park inside of the garage.

I appreciate that, Courtney! It's really a relief and he's enjoying his new truck. But it's big and I'm not about to drive it.

It is always good to get something like finished and get back to normal. Now you can put it all behind you. The new vehicle looks great. We call them 'utes' here - short for utility.
