Have you ever been anywhere where cell phone use was strictly prohibited?

Cell Phones are not allowed here. - says the warning on the wall / door.
Depending on the place, this is pretty annoying, isn't it?
For example, I've been to many museums on my travels with super interesting content... But it was totally forbidden to take pictures of them (no exceptions).

@WiseGhots Yep some sections of temples in Thailand are strictly off limits to photos.

Yes there are places that phones are not allowed so we have to follow the rules to avoid problems.In Perth, especially in the Perth mint that is not allowed to take photos inside.

When people are in a class they ask people to turn off their cell phones so not to disturb the lecturer or people around them listening.

Hospitals often say no cell phones. Like planes there is a long held (incorrect) belief that they interfere with the equipment.
