Tonight we watched a 4D movie together. Besides the 3D visual effect, your seats will be shaking automatically according to the cinema. And sometimes there will be "snow", wind etc. in the cinema as if you were in the live scene. It is interesting. It is fine to try it once and later I may not want to try it so much as it is much more expensive

I just wanted to know how 4D movie works

This was called "sensurround" in the early 70's. Developed by Universal Studios to enhance the audio experience during movies. I tried once and I cannot say that I liked.

@youless Yes, the seats that moved, the wind, the sensation of rain was available in the 70's, then abandoned because people did not like so much.

Wow, I've never heard of that. I remember the aroma that pervaded the cinema during South Pacific. That was a first at the time.

I think the 4D movie is also available in some amusement park but usually the video won't last for very long time.
