Cinderella

It breaks my heart how people can throw animals out specially on rainy weathers. I saw this little one with its sister on the road while I was jogging. I stopped by to put them on the side so they don’t get run over by cars and left. I really wanted to take them but we really have too many pets it’s overloaded and our allergies are flaring up. Everyone in the house is bearing with rhinitis or asthma because our furry friends knows no boundaries and sleeps on our beds specially in this cold weather. I came back on the same route on my way home and saw this little one trying to make his way down the mountain slip and was in the middle of the road. Her sister was gone. I picked her up put her on the side of the road and started to leave when she started heading to the middle of the road again. At this time it was running really late. And I was stuck talking to this cat telling her to not cross the road. I know I cannot take her home my parents would be furious. My mum called me and I cried and beg to take the cat home and promised to find it a new home. Just that it’s cold and it’s dangerous. And my mum agreed. I headed home with Cinderella. I wonder if the sister got adopted too. It’s no where in sight.

Oh, it would be so hard to leave the little kitten behind. I do hope you are able to find a home for it.

I’m trying to convince my grandparents to adopt it. They adopted a rescue black cat from us previously and I’m telling my grandma it will be quite neat for it to have a partner. They will be the Men in Black.

@JudyEv Well if not she I think she can stay with us by then. My mum can’t and won’t kick her out. But I’m sure if I asked my friends via social media I’d manage to find her a home too. Specially if I we vaccinate her for free.

They are really cute and playful. Is there a reason why you don’t own one? They are addictive once you start with one it will multiply.

Yeah I was really surprised. She’s quite superstitious and is scared of black cats. She must’ve heard the desperation in my voice.

That's a nice thing you did rescuing that kitten. I adopted a stray cat years ago that was wandering around our condo complex. Many stray cats have litters of kittens who need a home. When domestic cats are abandoned the result are these feral kittens. It is a big problem in the U.S. It's possible for young feral kittens to become house pets, with proper socialization to humans.

I admire people who have the heart of gold to shelter homeless animals.

I have a friend who have literally 20 foster cats. I think I’m just a silver and she’s definitely a gold. 20 is a handful.

@fluffy69 Yeah it must be costly. Also they can’t really all go on a family holiday as no one would take care of the cats.

@flapiz You are a very good person. Having rhinitis is no picnic. I have chronic rhinitis and suffer in the winter. Thank heavens I am not allergic to my cat but I would keep her if I was.

People can be so cruel. Some families will even abandon their children

It makes you really wonder where the love is. Because I think if someone grew up with love. He or she will have compassion to other people and other living things.
