Was watching the local news and they shared a report on an artist who paints portraits of homeless people and when he sells the painting he shares the profits with them.
The downside is that we have a major problem with homeless people in our city. The upside is that this guy found a way to help them.
You should see his paintings! They're marvelous!

An Austin artist is using his gift to give back to those less fortunate. Wiley Ross paints portraits of people experiencing homelessness and splits the profits with the person depicted.

Indeed. What is interesting is that the gentleman in the photograph with him, the one he painted a portrait of, is also a sketch artist. I believe they are going to work together to see if he can help the homeless man use his own talent to make money. It's a beautiful life story.
