Dark Chocolate

I wish I had chocolate covered almonds :(

I have eaten those chocolate covered almonds and even go to taste roasted almonds that were covered with chocolate.

I have tasted that chocolate with sea salt but did not like it.

When I do online shopping, as you said, chocolates come under the category of candies. That user was just teasing me about me being not sophisticated just because I do not like dark chocolate. (lol)

@LadyDuck So it's only the French people who said it's just candy and not chocolate? Because they really don't call milk chocolate, as chocolate.

@toniganzon To Europeans milk chocolate is "chocolate" not candy, but an increasing number of people now appreciate and prefer dark chocolate. The milk chocolate often contains some unhealthy ingredients.

Being in Switzerland where you have the best choice and yours being just dark chocolate is quite surprising. What about what you see in this photo. (lol)

@allknowing I bought one similar but with dark chocolate. We have here the "dark chocolate" version of all those boxed chocolates. I bought the Femina "DARK" for Christmas. They have finally understood what people want here.

Does it make you gigle and laugh?

From the health point of view they are better. We just had dark chocolate spread with crunchy almonds for breakfast today

@Sheali What you eat, how you dress, what shows you are interested.............all this does speak a bit about one's sophistication - mushrooms included (lol)

@allknowing How was the taste? I don't think liking something shows someone to be sophisticated.. as you also think.. I think you know, in India mushrooms were eaten only by not so well to do people just because they couldn't afford to buy vegetables and edible mushrooms grew everywhere.. but now it is a fancy thing.. Of course the type is better but still.. I don't like mushrooms.. Now am I sophisticated according to old Indian culture or unsophisticated according to the current times

Same here. When I have travelled abroad my main shopping has been chocolates.

Neither do I. But since it is good for health I would try and tolerate it.

I suppose one's lifestyle could define sophistication and that may not include eating dark chocolate (lol)

I have not heard of Costco.

@allknowing I guess they're not yet in India. They seem to be opening up in so many countries now it's hard to keep up with them. They are a large membership warehouse that started in Seattle and spread. They bought out some other membership warehouses like Price Club that also had a lot of warehouses in the USA.

I came to know about it may be a year ago.
