For me, it was the song "Winchester Cathedral." It was performed by the Lawerence Welk orchestra and I loved that song. I still have the LP to this day. What is the first song you remember (other than the wheels on the bus etc) that you remember thinking I like this?

The first popular song that I remember hearing on the radio is probably Tie me Kangaroo Down. I remember it playing on the radio while my mom and my uncle painted the outside of my grandparent's house in Anchorage, Alaska. I turned 7 years old that summer.

Honestly, the first songs I remember are some country songs from the 90's that I'd hear at the fair. My memory is horrible, lol....but they remind me of my favorite uncle who passed away.

@MommyOfEli2013 We went when our kids were little. My parents took us on occasion but they weren't really into the county fair!

I honestly can't remember. We had music going in the house all the time (there was an 8mm film of me at about 7 months of age, rocking back and forth next to the stereo, with a Johnny Horton album propped up against the console), so the "first song" was a whole bunch of them!

I remember very well, it seems that I almost did not talk but I wanted to sing this old Italian song (Papaveri e Papere - Poppies and Ducks).
