Do you like homemade tomato sauce?

Yesterday I tried making homemade tomato sauce for the first time and I found the result would be disastrous. But, contrary to what I had imagined, the sauce was very good, I just need to make some adjustments next time. Usually, it's a very simple recipe but you have to pay attention to the seasonings used (this was my mistake, haha). Also, it's pretty good for our health. Do you like or ever tried to do it?

I don't remember all the recipe. But, basically tomatoes, salt, oregano, butter, garlic and a little bit sugar.

We do not use jars or store bought sauce. It is too easy to make it the way we like it and so much less expensive.

Hunt's tomato sauce cost 49 cents a can and I'm satisfied with the taste. I never had a reason to make homemade tomato sauce.

I usually can a lot of my home grown tomatoes. Also my husband makes spaghetti sauce out of them and freezes it. Home grown tomatoes are so much better than anything you can get in the store.
