Whales in the Amazon

This morning I came across an article that I found interesting. The carcass of a young humpback whale has been found in the most unusal of places. It was found in the Amazon! It was 49ft from the beach of the river. The likely explination is that it died in the ocean, but was carried inland by the river and deposited in the jungle was the waters receeded. Explainable or not, its not every day you find a while in the middle of a jungle! Has there ever been a time when you found something in an unexpected place? How did it get there?

I know, it is just so strange! The explanation is reasonable enough but still.....whales in the jungle.

That was odd but explainable. It just goes to show that nature is not predictable.

Mother Nature is a wild woman for sure. Who knows what she might throw at us next.

That's pretty incredible. I can't remember finding anything unusual.
