Finishing up the third window job today, a brand new account for us.

We had one business to redo a few windows for since when we were here two weeks ago the sun was on them and they dried faster than we could clean them. We also planned on doing a shoe store that I've done bartering with before. That one was overdue since we've not been there since December. When we were still redoing the first one a business owner came to my car to ask if I could clean the windows for his tax businesses here and the next town over. I wasn't sure whether we had enough time yet today but once we got the shoe store done we came back to begin that one, the tax place around the corner. After he stopped by earlier another car drove up and asked if we go to Saginaw to do jobs. Those would be for Hungry Howie's both in Saginaw. The tax person has a second business in Mt Pleasant. The one is west of here whereas Saginaw is south. If we do them all we will have gained four new jobs in one day. Now to figure out how and when to fit them in. First they both need to email me pictures and count the panes of glass so I don't have to make an extra trip there for that. The picture is a sign for Hungry Howie's customers.

I'm not sure whether it's great yet or not. Since three of them are out of the area. I'll have to add on the cost for travel to the job and one may have no problem paying the other might not like it. But, then he can find someone else instead if that's the case. I've asked for images for the business and a count of the windows to eliminate me needing to go to each location to do the bidding.

@MarshaMusselman That's reasonable. They know you will need to travel so the additional cost should not surprise them.

@MarshaMusselman It was a great idea to use window wash for cars.

@LadyDuck We use it in the winter months when it might be below freezing. It helps so the water doesn't freeze on already cold windows. We have found years ago that when the temps are closer to zero even the window wiper fluid isn't' good enough to stop those windows from freezing especially those that are higher up like mall windows usually are. One year we spent most of the time scraping frozen water off the windows we were trying to clean. We realized there are certain days or nights that it's just best to not bother with and wait for a warmer day.

I realized when we were almost done that I forgot to take soap with us. Things changed at the last moment otherwise I should have remembered. We did use window was for cars which might have a bit of soap of some type in it and they are cleaner than they've been in a long time. Next round, next month we can do better.

@MarshaMusselman ......Do you use Epson salts? It is good added to bath water for aches and pains.

@celticeagle we don't use it bath tub much as the previous owners wrecked the bottom surface. I have been putting ice against the swollen ankle and have it raised.

Maybe, it may also be more of a headache since we can't ask too much for businesses but we still have to for them in around the weather and my other job. Getting new residential jobs are more welcomed since we make more from those.

We get new accounts every year but they are mostly residential. Rarely do we get new business customers in the winter.
