Daily routine ceremony at the Indo Pak Wagah Border

The Wagah Border is a divide between India and Pakistan There is a ceremony conducted at this border every single day. One can see spectators watching this ceremony in great numbers every day. It is kind of a tourist attraction.
The security forces of India (Border Security Force, BSF) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly followed this practice since 1959.Is there any such activity where you live?

@allknowing Partition never really does work does it, someone is always unhappy and it goes on from generation to generation. Look at Israel and Palestine, Northern Ireland and the Republic and the two Koreas.

I hope that there is not an escalation of violence between the two countries. We have nothing like this, but they have the famous ceremony of "Changing the Guard" in London and in Athens. I have assisted at the two. Here is the Greek one.

Changing the guard is only related to the country but here two enemies perform this practice.

@allknowing I think in the past there was some similar at the Gibraltar/Spain border, but it was a very long time ago. The border with Italy is very close to where I live, but there is not a daily ceremony. When the border patrol finishes its turn the others come and they go home.
