Lunch for me and later Reiki for Claudia / myLot

I have been having very nice lunches and dinners lately in spite of being alone. Today I had a very thin steak and I breaded it and fried it. I served it with leftover rice, mushrooms fried in butter and some leftover eggplant that I heated with the rice. Now I´ll take a nap and then I´ll try yo mylot during the evening. I will also have to check on my Reiki DVDs because Claudia wants me to do some Reiki on her neck and shoulder. Of course Reiki will start by her head. Do you know about Reiki?

Is Reiki a form of alternative medicine called energy healing? I know there are Reiki practitioners here.

It is. Although I learned about it, it is not alternative in the sense that it does not cure. But it helps soothe as I could see when my grandson was dying. Anyway, when I was small and I had pain, my mother chanted while she placed her hands over my sore spots and it helped. It is not a matter of believing, but of doing it.

You put your hands over a person´s head and body to transmit energy. Read about it. I learned to do Reiki around 20 years ago, when my grandson was dying. It soothed him.
