Dizzy; Sick; Good News; Bad News

I've been really dizzy for about 3 weeks and finally saw the doc. Had xrays and blood work done and the blood work was fine and the good news there is that my cholesterol level went from 225 down to 186. At one point it was 245 and I decided to start eating fresh-cut Spinach, fresh-cut garlic and tomatoes as a salad. No pills!! The bad news is that the xrays showed 2 new, cracked vertebrae in the Cervical part of the spine and that has been causing the pressure and cutting off of the nerves and blood flow to the brain; ergo, the dizziness. Ain't that just wonderful!! I've got an appointment for 3/13 for a Bone Density test; which the last one showed my spine looked like Swiss Cheese and they put me on Fosamax which is a bone builder and I've been on that for a year. If there has been no improvement, there really isn't anything they can do except maybe change the med OR......drill a cage into my skull so there is no movement up, down, left or right; and hopefully the discs would rebuild. Well that ain't gonna happen. Soooooooo A car rear-ending me or a serious fall would snap my spine like a twig and I'd be instantly dead.....which I guess would be better than being paralyzed from the neck down. I do however want to make it to my next birthday in April.
