I told you that I was invited last Sunday to the house of one of my late husband´s soccer chums. Then he was a hero for a whole generation. He had a picture in his house where he is embracing Pelé while they are exchanging pennants.
Carlos player in the center and he was the man that made goals with his head. Now he walks with a walking stick nd his daughter has to help him get up from his chair.
Last year I started looking for someone who could remodel my bathroom. I do not want a tub any longer. And I want some bars where I can hold my hands while I go from one part to the other.
Carlos had exactly what I needed so I called again a nephew that had promised to help me in October. He is an architect, but he must have heard something in my voice so he is sending me a couple of workers on Thursday.
I am now thinking what will I do with no bathroom downstairs for I don´t know how long. And if I will have to shower upstairs. I hate that shower. And Leticia hasn´t come yet. Jeezzzz!!!

I don´t want any sort of tub because I don´t want to have to jump into a tub. A good big shower will do. There are also special chairs to place there.

@marguicha Exactly what I was trying to explain, you do not "jump" in those tubs. I show you a photo. May be later this is also what I will install. I prefer a bath to a shower in winter and here winter is long. The step father of my husband has installed one.

I will have to do it. It is too dangerous for me. I´ll do it in a not so expensive way.

I do enjoy our new soaking tub, especially before bed, but I imagine they would be dangerous getting in and out of eventually. Fortunately, we have plenty of showers which are much safer than tubs. Hope you don't have to be without yours too long.

I hope so. I do have a shower in one of the bathrooms in the second floor. But I hate the stairs.

@marguicha I know you hate the stairs. Just be careful if you need to use it. It would be best to have someone there to help you up and down

I have removed bath tubs from two of my bathrooms. They are a headache to clean. I am having it in only one incase we feel like using it.
A picture with legendary Pele sounds interesting.

My husband and his chums played with Pelé at that time. They were for years the best team in my country.

Before starting the work you could make temporary arrangements downstairs May be a portable bathroom - just a suggestion

I don´t think that it is worth it. Anyway I don´t even know how long it will take them to do the job. They have not arrived.

Our latest house has bathtubs that no body uses anymore. I wonder if they will disappear in the future for lack of interest??

@Hate2Iron I think that all that means cleaning is a mayor pain. I prefer to do other house chores.
