Diary Sunday 3rd March 2019
Really starting to put out the advance publicity for potential reviews of my pending pub signs book now, sending out lots of e-mails to pub-bloggers, science fiction fans, and the media.
Diary Monday 4th March 2019
A day in, writing and job searching. Some good feedback already to my book promotion material.
Diary Tuesday 5th March 2019
I decided I should not go to the community centre random food collection events now as much of the food offered is high in carbs, which I have to reduce my intake of. There’s nothing wrong with the food service, jut that it doesn’t suit my diet any more sadly. I have to buy more expensive foods at the supermarkets now.
Though a month away, I bought my coach ticket for my London trip in April.
The university was screening a free film today, a Russian movie version of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, so I went along to the screening.
Diary Wednesday 6th March 2019
There were follow up talks today to last night’s film screening which were very good. These presentations continue tomorrow and Friday.
I bought a monthly bus ticket covering most of my transport needs until early April.
I was interviewed about my book project for a local arts journal, who have provisionally invited me to do some freelance writing for them in the near future. Happy to do so.
It was very cold today with some of the heaviest rain I have seen for years. I managed to get shelter from most of it.

How exciting for you to visit London in April. The best of luck to you on that. We have a terrible cold spell here in Florida and I am so missing the warm sunshine that once it returns I am finding a patch and sitting in it all day. Hope the cold goes away for you too and the sun comes out.

You need to go to the supermarket half an hour before closing. You can get some amazing deals, especially on a Sunday!

@Poppylicious not many shop here do that sadly. Many throw away unsold food rather than offer it at a lower loss price which is just wasteful
