I have 5 pure equity funds. And those are pretty much high risk. I am tired of playing it safe. I am kind of spending a lot of time trying to diversify but this time all 5 funds are of equity mid cap and large cap. lol.
I dont know if I am going to get nuked here so be it. But I am taking the risk.
I do have safety net with debt funds so I am not worrying.
But yeah I am kind of investing some serious amount into equity this year.
I am not keeping cash in my hand.
Have you taken any such risk?

We had it before, but lost some amount because the economy was not so sound; we withdrew it because we needed the cash, so we lost some amount because it was not yet matured when we withdrew it.

Honestly, I don't bother analyzing mutual funds. I just decide on the fund based on performance during immediately preceding year that too ranked by others (who invariably have ulterior motives.). lol. But tax savings are tax savings. I am happy I have been receiving almost 10 percent per annum compounded on my tax savings. As far as equities are concerned, I plough back dividends. Mostly blue chips.

I have an insurance. I hope I can continue with this one this time. I signed up for my first insurance but failed to pay on my second quarter.

The mutual fund performance would depend on the fund manager if he or she is in control of it.
