The Winds Have Picked Up...

I wonder if maybe the pressure is falling and that's the reason I have a headache... It's worse than it was and to the point that maybe I need to take something or it!! And then I went to bed... **Update... Headache is gone but this was a good one! And I never get headaches!! This one really ruined most of the day. Here's hoping that the headache will be the only one I get this year. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I had one. So... if you suffer from them, my heart goes out to you! They are awful!! Planning on watching The Resident tonight and more than likely an early night. Hope everyone has a pain free evening and if you can find something fun to do... even better!! Don't know if this works... but today I was ready to try anything!!

Thankfully, and touch wood, I rarely get headaches. Mostly I'd try to sleep it away.

You sound like me... I was thinking about taking something, but thought that I would take a nap and see if it would go away!

@JudyEv Me either for that matter. It all depends on the size of the pills... but most of the time... they won't go down!

@Hate2Iron I don't find it easy to swallow pills but laying down - I can manage that.

@Hate2Iron I suffered a lot of migraines when I was young, it's a serious pain. Now I only have headaches time by time. Yesterday I think it was due to the cold and humid weather.

So glad to hear your headache went away so quickly! I rarely get them, but think I had my first migraine ever this year. Just a guess, but it wasn't pleasant.

I have heard of migraines... they do run in the family but I guess I lucked out. Here's hoping that you don't get another one any time soon!

When it is too windy, I have a headache. When it is too sunny, I had a headache. I just had a coffee to treat such a headache, so far so good. )

@Hate2Iron caffeine can treat headache extremely fast, especially if the headache was caused in the first place by caffeine withdrawal symptom (means, your body sort of gets addicted to the caffeine intake you had a day or two ago, and tries to remind you to have another dose). I did that often, using caffeine as a quick fix.

Try to take something for it, lie down and then maybe try a cool compress on your forehead. That usually helps me, I hope that it helps you.

I had a small headache last weekend. I took a nap and it helped. I think it was because of the weather changing, I sometimes get really bad headaches and I take an Excedrin.

That is what I was wondering about but this was the first time since we moved here... and the winter has brought on some horrid storms and no headaches until yesterday. Hope that your 'bad headaches" are a thing of the past but it's nice to know what you can take when one strikes!
