Reality shows are getting gross. / myLot

Gross is the only word that comes into my mind when I do some zapping and see the latest reality shows on TV. There is one that dares people to do a lot of dangerous and disgusting things in order to earn half a million dollars. I haven´t seen it, but the trailer shows people in cold places, eating bugs and fighting with snakes. Is there a reason to show that? Then there are the shows with odd people, from those who live within cults (I wonder why they are legal) to people whose ailments are shown. I like to live with some intimacy. But there is no chance for some people who to have that. Would you like to live in a glass cage and have others look at you as if you lived in a zoo?

Sounds like a show that used to be on called Fear Factor! But I would not like to live that way personally!!

I don´t think that anyone would be thrilled to see people eating bugs to win money. I am interested when people eat other things in other cultures, but that is different.

We never watch reality shows. I think they are all gross, not just the odd ones.

Winning half a million in return of danger, no way! People should be more clever on that. The reason why they join such is because they want to get rich quick.
